Query “Query name” references other queries or steps, so it may not directly access a data source.
Please rebuild this data connection
Solution #
The privacy setting needs to be changed as follows:
Go to Data tab >
Click Get Data/New Query button >
Select Query Options from the drop down
In the pop up window that appears go to:

- Under the global section go to privacy option and change the privacy level to “Always ignore
the privacy level settings”.
Current Workbook #
- Under the current workbook section go to privacy option and change the privacy level to “Ignore the privacy level and potentially improve performance”
